In a Wall Street Journal article, “The Next Great Hiring Frontier” (September 13, 2005), David Morris, the president of Habitat International Inc., challenged employers to recognize and utilize the raw potential of people with disabilities—in his words, a “ready-made, overlooked group that would welcome the jobs.” Mr. Morris concludes, “The only thing [corporate America] [has] to lose is our own disability: fear.”
